Did you know that crocodiles are polyphyodonts? That means they continuously regrow their teeth just like sharks!

Crocodiles have 64 teeth, but they are constantly being replaced. A crocodile can go through over 3,000 teeth in a lifetime. Each tooth is hollow, with new ones growing inside the old

Each crocodile will cycle through 2,000-4,000 teeth in its lifetime. With all those teeth, you’d think they’d do a lot of chewing, but they actually don’t chew their food! They swallow it whole!

Their teeth are pretty much only used to catch and hold their prey, and then they break frequently. Quite a life if you ask me!
